We are developing day by day, and in thus process we are depending on out of gadgets, in a way we are habituated with them. Without their usage we can not lead day by day activities.

Let's face it; headphone are awesome. Yes, the whole ideas of being able to block out the world and jam your favorite hits in huge. Of course, with earphones you can listen to music while working out, riding on a train, sitting on a long flight, walking or just waiting. But you should be aware that over indulgence can do you more harm than good. In other words, using earphones for long periods or greasing music at incredibly high volumes can take a huge toll on your health. But if course, there's good news! Most of the problems associated with headphones or earphones can be easily corrected. In fact you can keep all the issues at bay by simply using them in moderation.


It's been seen that most of the youngsters of the nation are using earphones for listening to the music, mostly from the mobile phone or other other devise. On asking these youngsters why they use the earphones most of the time, the answer is:

"Oh I cannot live without it", of course you can.

So now the matter is why are specialists like the ENT people do much concerned about the usage of the earphones.

Here are a few problems you may want to keep in mind:


HEARING LOSS

For starters, listening to loud music is one of the surest ways to harm your hearing. For people who jam out to their favorite music at volumes exceeding 8 decibels have a high chance of suffering a temporary loss of hearing. In fact, wearing your earphones for long hours while listening to music at incredibly high volume (primarily above 90 decibels) can cause permanent hearing loss.

With this in mind, we'll recommend you make a few changes to how you listen to your favorite hits. Essentially, you won't be wrong to always keep the volume below 70℅ and of course, learn to take breaks between songs –at least 5minutes every hour. 

Speaking of which, it's actually ill-advised to use headphones for more than or hour.

Honestly, going overboard can increase your risk of hearing loss and yes, it's as bad as it sounds.


EAR INFECTIONS

Yes, the issues associated with earphones go beyond listening to music at high volumes. These earphones snugly fit into the ear and create a space where there is no air flow, making the ears sweat more and create a lot of Cerumen, the Cerumen is wax. These kind of waxes are more tenacious, hard and excruciating. These earphones fit into the ear and make the environment in the ear more humid and warm congenial for fungal growth. Fungal infections of the ear is more extremely painful and itchy.

You might not know this but using earphones every now and then can promote the growth of harmful bacteria. But do you know what's worse? The nasty bacteria can be easily transferred to your ears when you borrow or share earphones. Sharing earphones is like sharing infection. Must of these earphones are kept in pockets, purses, bags which are extremely unhygienic, and and we directly put them without even cleaning into the ear, making our ear more prone for infection. This is the most hazardous. Let's face it; almost everyone wears Bluetooth earbuds during a morning or evening run.

Yes, it always great to listen to beautiful music while working your body. But hey, you should be aware those earbuds needy actually be doing you more harm than good. In essence, chances are they are exposing you to high amounts of radiation.

According to a recent conducted by the WHO, it was discovered that lab mice reacted to the radiation produced by the frequencies found in Bluetooth earphones.

It actually caused side effects that cancer-producing agents. Of course, the research was conducted on mice and not humans, but will still recommend cutting back on your use of Bluetooth earphones regardless.

Also, the earphones create high frequency sound which directly affects the hair cells of the Cochlea, the Cochlea hair cells are not made for jig frequency sounds. So constant usage of the earphone damages these hair cells and they start dying. The dying hair cells don't regenerate. So with due time the patient's hearing sensitivity decreases, and this cannot be reversed by any medication or any procedures. So, with due time the person become more deaf by urging the earphone.


THROW YOU OFF BALANCE 

Got the habit of inserting earphones deep inside your ears? If yes, we'll suggest you quit from that habit fire your own good. For those who might nit be aware, the inner ear is extremely delicate, so yes, using earbuds every now and then can easily screw up your balance. And just so you know, loss of  equilibrium can lead to issues like dizziness, nausea, and vomiting.

But of course, the good news is, everything will be fine if you can just stick to the simple rule of moderation. Take a beak at least 5minutes every hour and of course learn to kelp volume low (at least below 70%). Here's to great ear health.
