Synagogue Church World wide Mourns T. B. Joshua's Death



Nigeriancharismatic pastor, televangelist, and philanthropist, Temitope Balogun Joshua popularly known as T. B. Joshua is dead. He was the leader and founder of the synagogue church. He died at age 57 (June 12, 1963 – June 5, 2021)

T. B. Joshua was also the founder of the Church of All Nations (SCOAN), a Christian megachurch that runs the Emmanuel TV television station from Lagos.

Aside from other awards, he was peculiarly awarded and being voted the Yoruba man of the decade by Pan-Yoruba media outlet Irohin-Odua, receiving the Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR) by the Nigerian government in 2008. He was called one of Africa's 50 most influential people according to Pan-African magazines — The Africa Report and New African Magazine.

In 2011, Joshua was Nigeria's third-richest pastor according to Forbes, although the claim was immediately declined in a statement by the church. He was known to be controversial and was even known to be boycotted by the government of Cameroon in 2010.

The news of his death was with a heavy heart For Ondo State Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu on receiving the shocking yesterday. 

As testified by a great number of people, Pastor TB Joshua was a renowned man of God who was such a blessing to humanity, and a great ambassador of the sunshine state.

Femi Fani- Kayode, former Nigeria aviation minister said on social media that the news of  TB Joshua saddens his heart.




The passing of my brother TB Joshua saddens me deeply. At about 3.00 am this morning, one of my daughters told me that it was fake news at first, and I thought it to be true, and even commented on the social media platform as a lie. Until five minutes later a call came into my phone from the same person I got the information confirming his death. " Fani Kayode let go

The synagogue church later confirmed the story about his death to be true on Sunday morning, 6th June 2021, which was just a few days to his 58th birthday on June 12.

Meanwhile, here is his statement at his forthcoming 58th birthday celebration which is on June 12:

"June 12 is around the corner, as you know, I'm a man of the people. So the wound of one is the wound of all. As things stand, you may have realized it will not be easy for me to celebrate my birthday under the present circumstances. Some of the people who want to come are troubled by the situation. We see their fear and their worry. I feel their pain, I feel their worry. 

Therefore, let us dedicate this day to prayer and fasting. Don't forget the needy. By God's grace, more birthdays are ahead. God bless you! Emmanuel!
