Divorced And Mother Of 3 Kids. If you See What She Did To Keep Her Kids will make you cry.

I still wonder whether mothers like this still do exist. Otherwise very few would do what this lady did to keep her family safe and sound even without her man.

Someone once said “So many women lose themselves in the motherhood. I call it the silent war, the phase of slowly fading away yourself, your interests and your passions without even realizing it’s happening.” I would solely relate with that.

This woman in Pakistan wanted to be a man. She decided to do what only men do which is DRIVE A TAXI. It may look easy but for women like her, this is mission impossible and I want to tell you the story about who she is. Why did she want to be a man? And just how many men were offended by this. In Pakistan I found Rehana. She is  one of the only women who drive RICKSHAWS.

Years ago, when Rehana was a little girl all she ever wanted was to be a man because she thought men were STRONG, POWERFUL AND INDEPENDENT so she played with the boys and tried to act like them too but she grew up and her family decided it was time for her to be a woman to make kids and be a house wife. She tried to be the best housewife and managed her house. Until one day, she got into an accident that changed her life.

“The bike man ran me over and broke my leg and my life was never the same” she explained. Because of her accident Rehana’s husband decided to leave her forever. She found herself alone taking care of three children. And that’s when she decided to control her destiny and go into the man’s world “I told myself either I commit suicide or I do something about it” she urged. So she bought a rickshaw.

She eventually became one of the first women in her country to drive it for a living and that’s how she started to make money. She paid off her house rent from her rickshaw in installment and lived independently. She also kept paying her renter through loans. she is very happy, she said even in the process she had inspired many other women to stand on their own two feet without just being a housewife.

When she was asked how it was like for you? Her reply was amazing and inspiring still. She said a lot of things are difficult  but if you put effort into any work It won’t be difficult. Rehana didn’t listen to society and she didn’t listen to traditions. In reality she didn’t even want to be a man. She just wanted woman to have the same opportunities that men have.
