See Why You Shiver While Peeing: Is It Normal To Have Pee Shivers?

Perhaps very few ladies will relate, but most men and boys could relate to guy’s pee shivers stuff properly.

First, the feeling “mostly” is experienced by males. And most commonly occur while voiding large amounts of urine, according to Sheth, previous director of the gastrointestinal motility program at Yale Medical School.

Let me begin by saying that my childhood was pretty awesome. There were moments I would be inquisitive and cause to be interested or curious about certain things, occurrences and experiences. How I would bug my parents with seemingly stupid questions like “why do I shiver while peeing?”. “It’s a normal thing”, they would always reply. Though deep down in my mind I wasn’t ok with the reply. I’m sure you did ask the same question. Well…hopefully never. The question both vexed and excited me to exploration; an exploration of the consequences even when I had tried putting it on the back burner. it’s worth sharing with you. A conversation with you, I believe will serve us best for the knowing.

Please do leave your comments below about your experience which of course will go a long way to explain this bizarre phenomenon in guys.

When grown men and little boys urinate, from time to time our entire body is abruptly embedded with this particular mysterious, internal blast of cold that makes us visibly throb the shoulders down. This happens near the end of the exercise, lasting roughly one split second.

Though no one knows for certain why pee shivers happen, but many medical researchers sound reason to back up a few explanations.

This sensation is considered as a reflex action to coldness. And as the name (Pee shivers) suggests, depending on a guy’s aim, it can make for messy results.

According to some scientific researches, the possible cause is a sensation of the drop in body temperature in the groin area which triggers pee shivers in some people. When you take off your underwear to urinate, there is a sudden drop in temperature of your previous warm private parts to a lower room temperature or cold air as the cast may be. This may be attributed to your central nervous system (CNS) as specifically, the peripheral nervous system sends impulses (Information) from the brain and spinal cord to other parts of the body. They are harmless of course.

However, this doesn’t call for negligence over unusual occurrences that accompany the rare experience of dizziness, burning or fainting while urinating, or in extreme cases, if you have bloody discharge in your urine.

At this point, I will admit that my parents were right when they said it was a normal natural phenomenon.
