JUST IN: Social Media Users React As Fraudsters Do Fake Transfer

Online users who fall victims frown at Fidelity Trust Fund Investment, Fidelity investment, Money Back Guarantee, Careers with Fidelity Investment, amongst others, because they have stretched out over the mass on social media in dealing with them in dubious ways.

According users, it’s quite a situation of “all mouth and no trousers” as there is no effective response to this regard or perhaps there is but it requires whatever measure of intelligent or technical approach. It has become a concern to them as it renders the core essence of social media not safe and unreliable.

"Fidelity Trust Fund Investment, Fidelity investment, Money-Back Guarantee, Careers with Fidelity Investment are dubious online businesses that render individuals, homes, schools, and organizations bankrupt". This was my according to a narration from one of the victims, he shared the experience.

What Do They Do?

Through their adverts on social media, Facebook, in particular, anyone who, out of curiosity would have an interest in “money doubling business”. They will tell victims that they will stand a chance of getting double the amount they have invested in an hour's time. And you buy into that, you are done! Your money, gone.

Often times, they have brief video clips showcasing fake beneficiaries sent to their target. It has been revealed that these videos are most likely innocent beneficiaries who have nothing to do with their enterprise. So they use them in disguise as a convincing tool to deceive massive innocent online users especially on Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram.

They will pretend to be Pastors, Deacons/Deaconess, Head of Administrators, etc. They urge the individual with compelling cajolement through excessive chats and calls to invest an amount of money not less than 10,000, and above after requesting one’s account detail. The order of personal bank detail proceeds as follows:

Acct. Name:
Acct. Number:
Genre:
Location:
How do you want to transfer?

Meanwhile, they could hack your Facebook account. They do that by going to one’s Facebook account, click on the inscription “forgot your password”, thereafter Facebook will send a 6digit code e.g <#>123456 to the individual. Then they will confirm your receipt and ask one to read the code back to them. They always deceive the victim by stating that it’s his/her withdrawal code or as relative to the investment so that it can enable them to do transfer to their so-called beneficiary. Unknown to the victim that his/her Facebook account has been hacked. The reason they do this to use this account, and with the same strategy to lure and buy the interest of friends and mutual friends of whose account has been hacked. Thus, Friends/mutual friends would not have any doubt but would believe that someone they know and trust happens to be a beneficiary.

They occasionally do a fake transfer to the victim. Therefore, one would obviously have a credit alert but no money deposit in his/her account. That will reveal a high level of risk about online money transfer or Digital transfer, for a better understanding as it relates to exchange of goods and services with mobile Apps, and of course it posts a threat to businesses and the banking system.

However, this last thing I want to talk about at this juncture is quite important than the former. I wish people would stop bad-mouthing African country especially…Nigeria. On a serious note, it’s really a very nice country. I bet you there is nothing that is far-fetched, you know, found elsewhere you won’t get in Nigeria.

Most times, you will find these gifts as a “potential” or in a “raw material state”. In spades, embedded in every online hacker, swindler or scammer or fraud, whatever name given, are amazing gifting that the world could ever imagine. Yeah even as crazy as that sounds, and you could wonder how possible that could be especially, I mean, taking a quick reminiscence on the past record of the corrupt country, an awkward bundle of bad governance and leadership as well as the elevated corruption rate, there are not enough benefits of the doubt to surpass the very possibilities bubbling within every Nigerian within and in the diaspora that someday these good gifts gonna be birthed and maximized proficiently like Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg and quite a good number of them. The fact that there are fake IDs, certificates, substandard facilities, products, equipment, low standard of living, etc., I think those actually should not determine or be considered as the overall circumstances or condition in life or fate of Nigeria. See it on the other hand, that the presence of the counterfeit is what validates the original. That’s where Nigeria is heading to. Therefore, you would agree with me that Nigeria is undergoing a metamorphic stage.
