The world ugliest musician, Godfrey Baguma best known as ssebabi is no new name in the streets of Uganda. The middle-aged man has become popular on a social media in a blink of an eye and all for the right season. Recently, over 

548,856 views, precisely, in  

April 30, 2020 got fascinated by his recent post. 

Ssebabi had hardly keep his head above water with no  parents and siblings to be catered for. 

According to him, in 2002, he was mending shoes, when some people approached him and said they had an event at which they wanted him to be a chief guest. While there, they took his pictures and among the poses they asked him to raise up his hands like a victor.

A few days later, he saw his picture in the newspapers that he had declared himself the ugliest man alive and that if anyone thought they would outwit him, they were free to try. Of course that raised his few eyebrows on his disapproval. However, he was blown out of the water about the outcome. The same people came back and assured him that he was the ugliest person alive.

He emerged among his rivals in the contest and has made more money to sustain his family.

Today he earns in six digits to keep his body and soul together and sponsors others.

That is how he got the nickname, Ssebabi, which means the ugliest of them all.
